LeadingVoid + CheckNumber

Usage: Used exclusively for general ledger data when the void indicator is prepended to the check number (e.g. v1234)

Required: No

Restrictions: Only available on General Ledger imports

Commonly used when importing check registers, mapping this field will indicate to Bank Reconciliation that voided checks will have the void indicator prepended to the check number. For example, data may look similar to:

Figure 1 - Leading void indicator

Figure 1 - Leading void indicator

In Figure 1 (above), check 1860 is a voided check in the amount of 67.89.  The other 3 checks are issued checks. The Check # field should be mapped as LeadingVoid+CheckNumber. Note: "v" is the default void indicator. See Changing the void indicator.
