Corrupt Database Restoration Procedures:

For these examples, the name of the account will be referred to as Payroll.  Please note that your account name will be specific to your setup.

If your version is 9.46.0 and higher:

1. Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to C:\Program Files\TreasurySoftware\Data.

2. Right click on the Payroll.BRD file

3. Rename the Payroll.BRD file to Payroll.BRDold

4. Right click on the Payroll.BR1 file and select rename

5. Rename the Payroll.BR1 file to Payroll.BRD

6. Start the program, and open the Payroll Account.  Verify that you can access the data in the account by going to Reports, and selecting the All Records Report.  If you are able to view the data after selecting this report, you have been successful in restoring the database.

7. If you are unable to access the account or continue to receive error messages, please repeat the process by renaming the Payroll.BRD file to Payroll.BRDold1 and renaming the Payroll.BR2 to Payroll.BRD

8. If you are still unable to access the account, or continue to receive error messages, repeat step 7, renaming Payroll.BRD to Payroll.BRDold2, and rename Payroll.BR3 to Payroll.BRD

 

If your version is prior to 9.46.0:

1. Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to C:\Program Files\BankReconciliationcom\Data.

2. Right click on the Payroll.BRD and select Rename

3. Rename the Payroll.BRD file to Payroll.BRDold

4. Right click on the Payroll.BR1 file and select rename

5. Rename the Payroll.BR1 file to Payroll.BRD

6. Start the program, and open the Payroll account.  Verify that you can access the data in the account by going to Reports, and selecting the All Records Report.  If you are able to view the data after selecting this report, you have been successful in restoring the database.

7. If you are unable to access the account or continue to receive error messages, please repeat the process by renaming the Payroll.BRD file to Payroll.BRDold1 and renaming the Payroll.BR2 to Payroll.BRD

8. If you are still unable to access the account, or continue to receive error messages, repeat step 7, renaming Payroll.BRD to Payroll.BRDold2, and rename Payroll.BR3 to Payroll.BRD
